Two famous pieces by Heitor Villa-Lobos. This 1925 four movement edition of SUL AMERICA was comissioned by the Argentine newspaper LA PREZA and was intended to be a series of impressions of various South American countries. A LENDA DO COBOCLO, roughly translated "The Legend of the Native" is very Brazilian in style and one of Villa-Lobos' most popular short works. Reprint edition.
