"Spy Chase" evokes images of one's favorite secret agent who is about to embark upon a mission placed deep in the field of crime, espionage, and corruption---and of course our hero will always have time for a little romance. The music will sound reminiscent by using familiar "spy chords," a minor triad with added 6th or raised 7th, and the trademark chromaticism associated with the composer's favorite spy movies. i just got given this, that trombone section at the end is HYSTERICAL me and the other trombones couldn't believe our eyes

the bossa nova part is the best, tuba, bass clarinet, bari sax is holding the bass and the tenor sax, clarinet, alto sax they play so good with the bass

when we played this in band, there was goosebumps everywhere. this was one of our favorites and still is!

Why is the pickup to the Bossa Nova the best tuba solo I've gotten in band :( I can play Waltz for Mippy III by Bernstein and Non but the Lonely Heart by Tchaikovsky and this is what I get!!!

I actually got to perform this as an encore with Dr. Karrick conducting. it was awesome

I love the tune, but I can hear that this band in particular has trouble moving together at certain points, this was fun to learn with an honor band (especially with the bossa nova) but for some reason my brain keeps focused on the fact they have trouble moving together... (Aaaaaaaa but it's such a cool melody)
