Description

Piano Trio No. 3 ‘Amadé’ by Tobias PM Schneid is a 22-minute single-movement work for Violin, Violoncello and Piano. With the title referencing WA Mozart, specifically a letter he wrote shortly before his father passed away, and the subtitle ‘Correspondence and Dialogue (Approach, Distance and Return)’, Schneid explores the theme of death through diametrically opposed musical and emotional positions, such as light and dark, sadness and happiness. The work is dedicated in memoriam to Gottfried Hefele. It was commissioned by the Tonkünstlerverbandes Augsburg-Schwaben e.V., and was premiered on 31 March 2019 at the Kleiner Goldener Saal, Augsburg, by the Seraphin Trio.

The score for this product is combined with the piano part.
