The six-movement PEQUENA SUITE, W064 (also LITTLE SUITE) for Cello and Piano was written by Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959) in 1913, and movements Nos. 1, 2, and 6 premiered in Rio de Janeiro on September 5, 1919, with Roberto Soriano at the piano and the composer playing cello.
