Description
MARKed MUSIC was originally developed by Mark Dresser, Roger Reynolds, and computer musician Jaime Oliver. Its materials grew out of two earlier projects in which Dresser and Reynolds had collaborated: imagE/contrabass and imAge/contrabass. In the 18-minute MARKed MUSIC, these two short, complementary solo works were elaborated with improvisatory and real-time computer-mediated materials into a larger statement. Dresser and Oliver gave the 2011 premiere at The Stone in New York City.
