This well-known aria "Le Bonheur est Chose Légère" (ICS 30) was part of Camille Saint-Saëns (1835-1921) four-act opéra fantastique Le timbre d'argent, which was written in 1865. This version for voice and piano with violin obbligato was created in 1877. Reprint edition.
