A simple folk-style song that works wonderfully for strings and depicts a traveling troubadour and his trained pet entertaining for their food. The broken-chord accompaniment imitates the organ grinder as he sings while the marmot performs tricks for the listeners. It is a beautiful melody that moves between A minor and C major.
