Description
Franz Liszt (1811-1886) wrote 19 HUNGARIAN RHAPSODIES for piano as a way to incorporate the music of his youth into his compositions, and HUNGARIAN RHAPSODY No. 2 in C-sharp minor, S.244/2 (also formerly listed as S.359/4) (1847) is by far the most well-known of the collection. This orchestration by Theodore Moses Tobani (1855-1933) for salon orchestra is arranged from HUNGARIAN RHAPSODY, S.244/12bis for piano.
