I played timpani for this. Out of 130 measures total, 98 of them are rests for me.
When everyone is complaining about all their rests but you're a viola and don't have that
I played the flute in this. I hated it bc I'm the only flute in my band class. (I'm beginning band)
Doing this in my class, I'm tuba. All I have to say, a lot of rests but fun to listen to
I played trombone in this piece for the act primary band! So much fun!!
I remember my band director called me out on mallets when I was the only one who stayed silent for like 15 measures straight. It was fun.
I played this back in 6th grade (percussionist) and it still gives me chills
I love the clarinet part but all the extra flats are killing me with these pinky keys
I'm playing this in band rn for an upcoming concert and I play the bells, the last part at measure 107 and beyond is so peak
I'm in grade 7, and we are playing this at our final concert of the year. I am a clarinet 1 so I would have around 23 measures of rest. But my band director told the 1st clarinets to also play some of the 1st trumpet part. So I had to say bye bye to my rests.
I'm playing bass drum on this. Definitely is a fun song, but challenging
This is SO nostalgic! I played the clarinet part in this about 2 years ago for my 7th grade final concert! I love it SO MUCH!!
I'm playing this for my last concert in Montevideo middle school on May 16. I'm a flute player it's hard but good. 👍
I PLAY ALTO SAX AND WE PLAY HALF THE SONG
Currently the band I'm in has kids grouped to head to Universal Studios Orlando! We get to perform this piece and 5 others (I am trombone so I rest most of the time lol) but we are getting to perform in the park! We do that during spring break (fairly soon) so wish me luck!
I'm in middle school band, and I play flute. This was so fun to play and it sounded majestic while we played with everyone else
I had the misfortune of playing keyboard percussion in this piece. I'm glad I did. I don't care for Harry Potter, but this was fun to play
WHERE MY BASS CLARINETIST AT? 😭😭😭😭 BUM, BUM, BUM, BUM 😭😭😭😭
I get chills every time we play this song. We're playing for our Halloween concert this year. (i play flute btw)
I played flute for this and I overheard the trumpets talking about how upset they were when we had a whole 32 measure moment of basically only flutes, and they were mad cause I heard one say "why give a solo to an instrument who practically doesn't exist" later that day he got beaten up for other reasons, I consider that karma
