25 years ago I sang bass in an SATB arrangement. It came to mind tonight and I found this after a lengthy search.

My choir performed this at a choral festival and got highly commended for "going out of our way" and doing a really difficult piece, but apparently we didn't have enough soprano 1s and didn't win. Not upset tho cuz it was pretty close and the choirs that won were stunning

The pitch and blend are perfect, and each line is crystal clear. I do wish they'd pushed the dynamics more and really sat in the fermatas to increase the drama, even at the cost of some of the other elements. As it is, it slips by like a catamaran.
