Alfred's Basic Piano Course

Who it's for

• Beginning piano students and their parents seeking structured, step-by-step instruction
• Private piano teachers building curriculum for young and adult learners
• Music schools and group lesson programs needing coordinated student materials

What's inside

• Lesson books (Levels 1A through 6) with integrated music theory and technique
• Theory workbooks, recital books, and technique builders at each level
• Formats include printed books, CDs with recordings, PDF downloads, and MIDI files

Things to consider

Start with Lesson Book 1A if beginning from scratch; pair it with the matching Theory Book 1A and Recital Book 1A for a complete first-year program. Each level builds sequentially, so stick with the same series as your student advances rather than switching methods midway. Choose the printed book format for in-person lessons, or go digital if you prefer PDFs and audio files for remote teaching or home study.
