Woodlands Overture: 2nd Oboe

Woodlands Overture is a musical celebration that showcases every section of the concert band! After a tutti introduction, Brian Balmages features the brass section in a rhythmic, harmonically vibrant passage. Woodwinds then have beautiful, lyrical lines while percussionists provide interludes throughout the entire work. The full ensemble then races toward a powerful conclusion. (6:10)
