Product Details

This is one of the best loved hymn tunes in the world, sung to the text "Fairest Lord Jesus."  However, the tune was not originally a religious song at all.  It is a folk tune of unknown origin, first published in 1842 after hearing it sung by haymakers in Silesia (now Poland). OMEA Class C
