These are actual arrangements of Scott Joplin's work, created during the heyday of ragtime (by and large anonymously), and out of print for over fifty years. Gunther Schuller edited these versions, which match the best-selling album. The authentic instrumentation is five winds, four strings, and rhythm section consisting of piano, string bass and drums.
