Product Details

Symphony No. 3 was composed in 1883 and first performed that same year in Vienna. The second movement is a rather quiet Andante and one of the most lyrical works that Brahms ever composed. It is elegant and romantic in nature with two beautiful contrasting melodies. An ideal selection for teaching phrasing and legato playing.
