The world premiere performance of the Serenade for Violin and Orchestra was on February 5, 1995 in Plainfield, New Jersey. George Marriner Maull conducted the New Jersey Youth Symphony with Peter Winograd as violin soloist. Mr. Winograd also recorded the piece, with the composer on the piano, on the CD entitled Spectrum. The CD was released on the I Virtuosi record label in 1996.
