Warner Bros. jazz presents the Jazz Beginnings Series This is a new series designed for very basic jazz ensemble playing using limited ranges, rhythms and flexible instrumentation and it parallels beginning method books. An easy swing original by our man Victor López, this chart is based on a simple two-chord pattern similar to the tune "Killer Joe." Solos are written out with ensemble backgrounds and include solo opportunities for alto saxophone, trumpet, flute, trombone and piano.
