This was the last song I ever played in high school band. The last song after seven years of personal growth and great friendships.

My senior year, this song was what we were playing. As a French horn player, a band nerd, and music lover, I was so so excited. And then COVID hit and we never got to perform it. And we had it down to a tee. Forever heartbroken when I hear this song, but also given so many memories. This will always be a favorite.

Played this two years ago, still one of my favorite pieces of music, but I swear everyone in my class got PTSD from all the work we put into it. Now, most of the flutes from that band have bad memories when they play low B-flat to high B-flat. (I am one of said flutists)
