Description
Zombies are everywhere these days---at least in songs, movies, and on TV! This original piece is a tip of the hat to the wildly popular sci-fi craze. Written for first year orchestra students, "Zombie Dance" by Michael Story uses mostly quarter note rhythms and D-, A-, and G-string notes including a few C-naturals. Very easy optional piano and percussion parts are included, however it is playable by strings alone. Have fun with this one! (1:45)

💕 Man this song gives so many good memories when I was in band I physically remember it it was 2019 and I was in 5th grade and we did this song with my amazing band teacher Ms. Mendez for our Halloween band special! 💕

One of the best compositions definitely. This song is too good to be a beginner band song. The harmonies work great, the mallets work really well, and all in all, this is just a masterpiece. Also, the intro has to be one of my favorites.
