This song was written for the campers at Wolverine Concert Band Camp in Wolverine, Michigan. Sadly, the camp has been closed. This summer was my first time not going in 6 years. It is a concert band where 6-12 graders play together music like this song and learn from each other. I miss band camp and all the wonderful people there. For any other campers who read this: a hotdog is a sandwich. (Inside joke)

I went to a camp in Wolverine, Michigan and this was one of the several songs we played

I never went to camp, but we played this my sophomore year. (I played 1st trumpet.) The band liked it so much we had an argument with our band director because we wanted it as senior song for 2 separate grades.

I remember playing this at Wolverine Camps. I was a tuba and every once in a while I find my original sheet music they let us keep and I search the song once more to have those awesome memories of being there and how much fun I had.

My high school senior band played this for a concert this year, the best piece I have ever played!

Commissioned for Wolverine Camps in Michigan, which will sadly be shuttered later this year. Its spirit lives on in this beautiful piece in which I was one of the first to perform.
