This piece of music is extraordinary. I love how melodic and vocal the Flute and Clarinet parts are. I really enjoy the low and long tones that Tuba plays, they really hold the music together. If I were composing this, I would add an all brass section, just my preference. Great Music!!!

We're playing this in my band this year. I'm the only French horn. The horn line in this piece is truly beautiful!

I got to have Robert Sheldon as a guest conductor at my high school district honor band wind symphony this past year, and it was a great experience! He gave us some great insight on this piece and it really helped me to appreciate how beautiful it is, especially with how much this particular piece meant to him.
