Description
Totari was written for the Christmas programme of the vocal group Latvian Voices. It is based on a Latvian folklore refrain - "totari", which is typical of winter solstice folksongs. The composition is rhythmically active, while at the same time retaining its melodiousness both in the main theme, sung in folk style,
