Johann Joachim Quantz (1697-1773) spent his career in the court of Frederick the Great working as a composer, flutist, and flute maker. While he composed hundreds of flute sonatas and concertos, most of his works remained unpublished in his lifetime. This collection of the first three flute duets (of six), Op. 2, is edited by Georg Muller.
