I'm an 8th grader, and I've been playing the flute for 2 years now. Our school band is playing this song. The person who wrote it, Robert Sheldon, was the band teacher at the middle school that my current band teacher went to. When Robert Sheldon finished this song, he had his students play it. My band teacher was in the first ever band to perform this song.

Playing this one for a Veterans Day program Friday and it's the best feeling when you hit that high G at the end (Trumpet)

We got invited to play at the 80th anniversary of Pearl Harbor in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago and we played this song. Fabulous music!
