We played it closer to 1.5x playback speed, I was on alto with a big ole solo such a blast to play, our drummer was an absolute machine.

Absolutely shredded this man. I had been playing bass for two months and only correctly for about a week when I was asked to join my high school jazz band as the bassist because they really needed a bassist! One of the first songs they gave me was this! I couldn't even read bass clef I was a tenor saxophone player! This song truly taught me how to play bass and I still struggle with it but man this song holds a lot of memories!

I joined the school Jazz Band as a Viola Player playing the trumpet part, at first I hated this piece but after hearing it a couple times and going through it, I began to fall in love

Cet arrangement me permet de pouvoir espérer le jouer au saxo étant donné la vitesse très ralentie par rapport à l'original qui est en 150 et que je préfère justement pour la dynamique. J'espère pouvoir trouver le BT de cet arrangement ;....

My jazz band played this last year at a faster tempo 😭 if you put it at 1.25 it's about the tempo we did

Ik this arrangement of the song is getting a lot of hate because it's not intended for younger players but that tenor solo tho!
