I'm gonna break my bow trying to play this... but it's worth it
if you aren't sweating after playing this piece you're doing something wrong. 😂 after playing this song in rehearsal, i'm all pumped up and sweating a bit. i play second violin for this song in my orchestra, i can't imagine how the firsts feel after playing it.
My fingers cry when playing this song (worth it)
i played this about two years ago and i'm going to be honest, i thought my hand was going to fall off and my bow was going to break.
Me and my chamber orchestra are playing this but we did it way faster than this 😂
Even after ten years of violin this still made me sweat lol
that's the most exciting bass part I've seen in my 3 years of orchestra
This song is amazing! It is also really challenging and fun to play. I have been playing violin for almost 5 years.
We played this for fun because we needed something to play for an extra concert so we had like 2 weeks to learn this and it was extremely fun
One of my teachers made meatballs for us because we play this piece really well even though it wasn't concert week yet!
My fingers hurt so much playing this but it was so fun!! Never again though 😂
My fingers are bleeding now and it was worth it
only freaking piece I actually like playing. I hadn't practiced the violin outside of school until I heard this song. :D
Played this in our HUGE high school chamber group and it is so fun OMG. Little hard without a conductor tho lol 😅
Played this in our orchestra concert this year it was so fun
This piece is such a fun and challenging song to perform! I played my 8th grade year and it's one of my favorite songs I still play it ❤️. Richard Meyer is also one of my fav music composers 🎵.
performing this piece for a string quintet in February, i'm 1st violin, wish us luck!!!!!
I played this in 8th grade for a presentation thing at the end of the year and my group had only been playing for 3 years prior and two of the four people had a breakdown and cried when we performed, me and the violin 2 had to carry for about 15 measures. This piece is insane
lol i remember playing this two years ago in region. it was really fun. but i didn't lose any bow hairs XD
My teacher's gonna get this. We're gonna try and play it in the Spring and we've been playing for a bit over 2 years. He says he doesn't know what he did that made us so good. 😂
I played this piece in my Melbourne youth orchestra!
