Sunday in the Country: Conductor Score & Parts

This is the short story of activities that take place in a rural setting on a summer Sunday afternoon. Families attend a morning worship service and then share in social and recreational activity at a picnic.  "In Church" is slow and in a reverent legato style.  "At a Picnic" is different from the opening, with light articulations and syncopation.  This short work is a perfect outlet for a group of players wanting to enjoy their first brass quartet experience, and both the horn and trombone parts have euphonium parts in both treble and bass clefs to give some additional flexibility to the instrumentation.
