I just got news that a student who just graduated a month ago passed away in an accident today. This was his favorite song we had played. Here's to you, "Grandma".

In 2019 we played this music piece. I was going through some playlists I made and I found this, so I said "I'll listen to it, why not?" So I started to listen to this and on my face a smile started to grow and I almost started to cry. This reminded me of all the good times I had in band that year and how everything was normal. I miss it.

I'm playing the Bari sax in this piece. I love this piece so much. It's also my band teacher's last concert before retirement. I'm glad I could have her. She's the best.

In 9th grade I got to play this piece and it became one of my favorites throughout high school. Now I get to play and teach it again to new students, and it still holds a special place in my memory. :)

Trumpeter here. This song is the first song I played on trumpet because I just moved schools. This song is great. YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT TASTE OF MUSIC! In beginner band btw.
