Grade 4? I think not. Grade 5, and you'd better have one heck of a horn section. And having played this under the batons of both Messrs. Broughton and Bass, this tempo is way too deliberate.

Everyone's talking about those horn parts (which I love playing, of course!) but I would never touch those woodwind parts above tempo with a ten-foot pole (we're going faster in my concert "because we can" oh lord) (we're high schoolers)

I love when euphoniums are scored as a tuba....NOT! The horn part is magnificent, though!

An absolutely superb arrangement, however all playing prior to rehearsal mark 58 is much too slow. Listen to the original film score recording and it's a raucous ride! Oh, and as an accomplished horn player currently studying under one of the legends in Hollywood, I approve of this arrangement of one of my all-time favorite movie scores!
