This takes me back to my late middle school years in choir (can't remember exactly when) but I remember absolutely loving singing this song and even sang it outside of choir because I just loved it that much. Now about 4-5 years have passed and this has given me so much nostalgia and the exact same feelings I've had as if I listened to this for the first time and fallen in love with this song all over again ❤

I'm singing this in choir as well. I actually like this song a lot. I need the same thing they need—my spirit to be free. I was actually sitting by a river yesterday feeling the most tranquil I have felt in a while. This song speaks to my soul. I get emotional hearing and singing it in choir sometimes. I love it.

My choir did it for our first concert (we're preparing for our second one now) and I still miss it

I had to sing this when I was in choir and so did my sister and we both had the same choir teacher in different years. This brings back memories. I mean, I'm not in school right now but I'm starting a new school year so technically right now I'm not in choir, but man does this bring back good stuff.

I loved doing this song so much. When there weren't solos at least. My only problem was I had to be 2 parts of the song because our choir directors didn't separate us, just had one side of the class 1st and the other side 2nd. I'm a soprano, and while I could do either good, I like high notes better
