I sang this song during my freshman year of high school at an International Honors Music Festival in Düsseldorf, Germany. Every time I come back to it, I tend to get emotional. Such a beautiful piece.

We are doing a repertoire March Madness bracket for one of our assignments in chorus and one of the songs was this one and this was my winner, it was so beautiful and it made me cry.. and then to learn what it was about made me want to cry even more.
