Playing Bari in the soli section was one of my favourite memories of my LIFE. Also improvising a solo in this song was great

Nostalgia hit different when listening to this. I played drums on this at a great America music festival and we came in first place in middle school division, our tenor won an outstanding tenor award and came in first for best jazz band. Great tune that I'll never forget.

As a French horn/jazz trumpet, this song was so much fun!

My sr high school jazz band is playing this this year and our bari was having trouble with the soli so the pianist transcribed it and now he has a bass trombone and a piano behind him and people say it's better than the recording... but we have yet to perform it so yeah
