Kultaselle, BV 237: 10 Short Variations on a Finnish Folksong was composed in 1914 by Ferruccio Busoni (1866-1924), drawing on a traditional Finnish melody whose text ("Kultaselle," meaning "to my beloved") reflects the lyrical folk tradition of his mother's homeland.
