Wanted to tell a story about this song. My band director was handing out music and when he handed me mine, it was my mom's copy from 21 years ago! Keep in mind these are both new band/assistant band directors. On measure 80 my mom wrote, "here's Johnny!" because of the fp and sharp crescendo. Apparently her BD, who was ex-Marine, yelled that behind them and scared the TF out of her.

it's crazy that kids are still playing this one, this was my favorite band song in middle school back in the late '90s

I'm playing this song for 8th grade festival and I play snare. I gotta say there is an adrenaline rush throughout the whole thing
