6th grade fall concert, so many memories, now I'm in 9th grade trying to survive the HUGE jump in difficulty from middle school and high school chamber level music.
I played this last year (I play bass) and I think it's one of my favorite pieces I've learned in middle school.
I remember playing this song back in MYSO (Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra) when I was 9 years old. I play the viola.
I played this in my middle school, and I'm playing it again in my 10th grade orchestra :DD
I'm playing this with the middle school kids in a couple weeks and I'm kinda exciteddd I miss middle school orchestra (I'm in HS now, the middle school is short on cellists).
Playing this next month for a fundraiser for my orchestra for a trip!!! This is my favorite piece for the fundraiser <3
Whenever my teacher first passed out the music sheets, my whole class was in complete shock. It looked very much difficult compared to our other pieces. Replying back to this comment whenever we finally master this. Yes, we are playing this for our spring concert. (Very young and just started playing the violin, looking forward to mastering it)
This and "Prelude and Fugue" were the two songs my 6th grade class did back in spring 2012. I was first chair second violin, and playing this in the concert hall is still one of my best memories.
6th grade aloha concert, this was my third favorite piece in 6th. Now I'm in 7th grade it's much harder, like Viola Country and Spartacus.
About to play this for my school Christmas concert tomorrow! 6th grade orchestra—viola. :)
I'm doing this rn for orchestra. We are getting there, but yeah, I play viola. I had to listen to this because it just reminds me of Japan for some reason or Chinese, I forgot, but I just love the sound of the song 🥰
