Description
One of the original charts in to Jazz Expressions™ Unit 12, Just a Little Cha Cha is an ideal way for students to learn the Latin cha-cha style. This medium-easy composition is based on Afro-Cuban music, and Victor López's arrangement demonstrates the 2-3 clave, the Latin cha cha, and im provisation based on the ii-V chord progression. Victor includes easy rhythms, plenty of ensemble and rhythm section tuttis, accessible ranges, and a solo section for all wind and string players. Optional parts for flute, clarinet, horn, baritone horn, and tuba. String parts include violin (2), viola, and cello.
