Description
This charming and somewhat dark musical offering is a departure from this composer's usual "epic" style. Originally scored for fifteen players, this piece is much more intimate than the composer's thickly orchestrated grand works. Stylistically, a minimalistic compositional approach is used as the melodic content slowly unfolds over shifting ostinato patterns.

Shoutout to the shaker for being the metronome and keeping 16th notes going throughout the entire song. Definitely underappreciated

Bro playing this as a French horn just hits different

Can we give some credit to the horns for having to hold a bunch of above-the-scale high notes for so long?

I've been listening to a lot of compositions by Rosanno Galante and, in my opinion, they are all amazing! I want to play every one of the songs I've heard from him in my band class and I'm glad we are playing this piece otherwise I would have never found this composer.

I found Galante's music through Childhood Remember, and the horn parts he wrote have been very fun to follow along. Man, his compositions make me want to pick back up horn, even though I sucked in high school lol

I played bells and marimba/xylophones in this song. You don't hear it, but there's a part with the vibraphone where you have to hold a pair of sticks in both hands. That would really f me up with the slowing tempo

The Bassoon solos alone deserve respect, at least something different from long notes.
