Entranced by Raymond Sifuentes captures the story of a passionate entanglement, perhaps with something we should not partake in. Drawing inspiration from Spanish flamenco music, Entranced aims to express the feeling and emotion behind the ultimate decision: should I move forward or concede? An internal deliberation with oneself is interjected with nostalgic motifs, reminiscent of the melancholy one might feel when faced with such a choice. Students and directors will enjoy piecing together the storyline that Entranced evokes while simultaneously benefiting from duple and triple rhythmic variation, the frequent usage of accidental notes, and more.
