Harry Alshin has adapted this timeless love song to the accessible key of D major. Cellos start the opening phrase which is then passed to the violins. The counter melodies are carefully interwoven for adding a rich inner texture. Along with the alternate parts, this beautifully done arrangement would be a splendid combined festival orchestra performance piece.
