Description
This collection of four Chansons Populaires were originally published between 1909 and 1910 by the Moscow-based publisher P. Jurgenson. While Chanson Hébraïque was published separately in 1909, the remaining three Maurice Ravel (1875-1937) were published in 1910 in a collection titled Sept Chants Populaires that also included works by Alexandre Georges and Aleksandr Olenin. The four works by Ravel were later recombined into a single collection by Durand in 1925. Songs included: 1. Chanson espagnole; 2. Chanson française; 3. Mélodie italienne; 4. Chanson hébraïque.
