Celtic Roots: Double Bass

After a short, chant-like opening featuring bass and cello, this work moves quickly into a jig. Featuring a solo violin, this section establishes a solid groove and works exceptionally well for string orchestra. A reel establishes the final section and the work accelerates to a joyous conclusion.
