Seriously a beautiful, but absolutely powerful piece of music! I am just blown away by this! I love that it has that 5/4 clave rhythm, divided into alternating 2/4 and 3/4 meters. So cool!! :)

I played this piece in band for 8th grade and it was so fun!!! I loved the challenge of switching from 2/4 to 3/4!! Playing it on oboe was so fun I loved how the song pushed me to learn to move my fingers faster and to play better and have better timing.

I love the Alto 2 part! It perfectly accompanies every part of the song without requiring a melody.

I watched my friend play the play part and just played the D and A on marimba quietly almost the whole song just to pass the time cause I didn't have a part. I used 4 mallets and did 2 octaves of it. Lowkey fire
