I remember I had the flute solo at the beginning and my nerves hella kicked in to the point where my vibrato was on point
I played this my freshman year of high school, I'm a freshman in college now, and I literally cried as soon as I heard the first notes🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭
Played this song last year for band at state for Oregon, and we got 3rd place. This year we're playing Red Rock Mountain, also by Rossano Galante, and we hope to get 1st place
I had to relearn the oboe for this piece, and now I'm back on that as my primary instrument.
One of the last pieces I played on clarinet before switching to French horn. I was a freshman in HS and now I'm fixing to graduate from college :)
I played this for my school's graduation ceremony and it fits it perfectly (for reference I'm currently a junior)
you thought your part was boring but i play piccolo :)
I played this my freshman year (last year) 2023-24, and I honestly wish I could play it again. It is such a beautiful piece. I enjoyed every moment even though I wasn't as good of an alto sax player that I am today. Edit: I also remember the two juniors on 1st alto saxophone playing the beautiful soli part at measure 69 with the flute solo 😢 Such a beautiful part of the song
Ok don't get me wrong this is such an amazing piece, but no one's talkin bout measure 17 with the saxophones😭😭
I never played this song with a group but I found it on Smart Music and I played first alto saxophone and I loved my part. Whenever I played the 32nd notes I felt like I was gonna die but they are easy because they are like at sixty-seven beats per minute I think
