Description
This is a different kind of holiday number, focusing on a yuletide wish for peace and brotherhood: "What I want most of all this Christmas is a world of love and peace." A simple, yet poignant sentiment, set to a lovely melody by Jay Althouse. Logical voice leading, easy accompaniment. A modulation helps build to the finish and the piece ends with a quote from Handel's Joy To The World melody.
