March 23, 2018
Alfred Music, the leading publisher in music education since 1922, is proud to announce the release of Volume 2 of Piano Studies for Technical Development, a new comprehensive anthology of études, exercises, scales, arpeggios, and cadences.
Selected and edited by Gayle Kowalchyk and E. L. Lancaster, Piano Studies for Technical Development, Volume 2 is designed for pianists who are moving into late intermediate to early advanced levels of study and features three sections. The first section includes études for the development of specific skills. The second section features selected Hanon exercises. Reference pages for scales, arpeggios, and cadences make up the final section. The book is especially useful for college and university piano students who are not piano performance majors (secondary pianists).
