Scott Beard

Dr. Scott Beard is the Provost at Shepherd University, where he heads an innovative academic team of directors and programs.  He is a noted performing artist, having performed in more than 10 countries, was runner up for West Virginia Professor of the Year and was the West Virginia Music Teacher of the Year.  His students have won national and international competitions and gone on to successful careers in music.
