Makynzie Barton

Makynzie Barton is the Choir and Theatre Director at Elkton High School in Elkton, MD. With her bachelor’s from the University of Delaware in Music Education and Music Management, she is currently leveling up with her Master’s of Music Education at Berklee College of Music. Online, she creates content as a music educator, sharing the magic and madness of the classroom, arranging vernacular music for her choirs, and creating a culturally responsive classroom setting to amplify student voices.
