Jacki Alexander
Jacki Alexander is a piano composer and arranger known for her expressive original piano solos and creative arrangements of popular music, holiday favorites, and hymns. She writes in a variety of styles, including contemporary, lyrical, smooth jazz, pop, and traditional.
Jacki began studying piano at the age of four, launching a lifelong musical journey that has included teaching, composing, and arranging. She has taught piano students from beginner through late intermediate levels for over twenty-one years and has been a published composer for thirteen years.Â
In 2016, Jacki won the Sheet Music Plus ArrangeMe Holiday Contest for her arrangement of “Mary, Did You Know?” Her work and insights into piano teaching and music have been featured in articles she has written for The Piano Bench magazine and piano teacher podcasts.Â
Jacki lives in McCordsville, Indiana, and is the mother of three adult children, grandmother to five grandchildren, and mom to a little rescue dog. Her hobbies include watercolor painting, reading, and attending live music performances.Â
