Fred Hughes

Pianist Fred Hughes has been performing and conducting workshops nationally and internationally for over two decades. He is the musical supervisor and conductor for Cook, Dixon and Young and also performs with his own trio. His book, The Jazz Pianist: Left Hand Voicings and Chord Theory is published by Alfred Publications. Mr. Hughes has conducted orchestras that include the Cincinnati Pops and the Los Angles Philharmonic, and his arrangements can be heard on the PBS Great Performances special Cook, Dixon and Young -Live in Concert.
