During Danielle's years of teaching, she has developed a passion for curriculum development, child development, and the cultural significance of music education. She fervently studies with master teachers and implements "tried-and-true" activities, while also responding to the current cultural climate. Ms. Bayert's classroom is a very active place, filled with manipulatives, centers, and age-appropriate learning. She believes that all children can learn through play and that a high-quality arts education is a right for all people. On a personal note, Danielle continues to play music on various woodwind instruments, and enjoys listening to live music on a regular basis, when she is not gardening, parenting, or knitting.
